INTRODUCTION
Effective classroom management is a cornerstone of successful teaching, particularly in secondary education where students are navigating significant academic and personal development. This 18-hour teacher training course aims to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to create a positive and productive learning environment. By focusing on practical techniques and real-life applications, this training will help teachers foster a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, engagement, and mutual respect.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of this HIGHLY PRACTICAL training course, participants will be able to:

Implementation Period: Participants will return to their classrooms and implement the techniques learned during the first three sessions.

METHODOLOGY
The "Classroom Management in the Secondary Classroom" teacher training course employs a multi-faceted, interactive, and reflective approach to professional development. The methodology is designed to ensure that participants not only gain theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills that can be immediately applied in their classrooms. The course will use a combination of instructional strategies to cater to different learning styles and promote active engagement.
FACILITATOR BIODATA
Linda Wesley, MA, has more than 35 years of experience in foreign language education as a K-12, adult education, junior college, and university teacher. She is now the owner/operator of Linda Teaches English, a private business which provides individual and small group online instruction as well as Instagram lessons to students around the world. Additionally, she has developed and delivered on-site and/or virtual training/consulting for teachers and students in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and South Korea.
