INTRODUCTION
Course participants will work with major aspects of teaching: Classroom Management, Lesson Planning, CLIL and EFL Teaching Strategies.
OBJECTIVES
CONTENT
• March 20th:
"Nine Essential Elements for Classroom Success"
• March 21st:
"The Lesson Cycle". We teachers need to refresh our classroom management skills. We believe that good classroom organizational skills could act as the foundations for great teaching & learning.
• March 22nd:
"Global Climate Change". This session could synthezise "The Lesson Cycle" while contextualizing CLIL with organized techniques.
• March 23rd:
“How/why was CLIL created? A Plan of Action is possible to implement in our classes.
METHODOLOGY
Speaker will use Power Point slides to visualize the concepts to be taught, speak directly to participants during the course. She will expect comments, questions, or clarifications to be verbalized by participants, which will be answered.
SPEAKER:
Elaine Gallagher, PhD. 50+ years of experience in the classroom at all student levels. Author of over 300 articles, 27 books, and English curriculum. Teacher development leader in Latin America, Spain, and the USA.

Profesorado de inglés o DNL de inglés de Educación Infantil, Primaria y Secundaria en activo con destino en los centros educativos sostenidos con fondos públicos de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria.
