PRESENTATION
Authentic materials provide real-life examples of language used in everyday situations, and it is no news that using them in the EFL classroom is highly motivating for both, teachers and students, as it is the most effective way of bringing the target language closer. Yet, there is so much out there, that selecting the right visual or video and thinking about what to do with it, may prove overwhelming and time-consuming for most teachers.
In these series of workshops, participants will have the opportunity to not only learn about the pedagogical importance of including music videos, movies and TV series trailers, TV shows, striking images, etc on a daily basis in the EFL classroom, but also, they will be taught how to choose the most appropriate material and create a five-minute activity based on it to enhance learner’s motivation.

Martes 8 de octubre, 18:00 a 20:00 en el CEP de Santander.
How to design five-minute activities based on TV commercials, TV series, movie trailers, news, YouTube videos and TV shows.
Lunes 14 de octubre, 18:00 a 20:00, videoconferencia a través de Teams.
How to encourage learners to speak through striking pictures and images.
Martes 15 de octubre, 18:00 a 20:00, videoconferencia a través de Teams.
How to develop visual literacy in the EFL classroom.

CERTIFICACIÓN
